30mk Ultra-Low Temperature High Magnetic Field STM System
An article about UNSOKU 30mk Ultra low temperature High magnetic field STM system is published on 7th page of the Nikkei, August 22, 2012.

UNISOKU developed a STM useful for analyzing magnetic structure of magnetic materials. This new STM is ultra-low temperature (30mk) and able to make high magnetic field (16T). Atoms stop moving when cooled down to 100mk, and align to same direction. By adding magnetic field, you can observe atoms spinning the other way. The evaluation under ultra-low temperature and high magnetic field is useful for development of elements under room temperature. The price will be around one hundred million yen. The sales will start within this year. (this is a summary based on the article written by UNISOKU)
